Mt. Olive Baptist Church of Shreveport is a ministry on the cutting edge of change. We are learning to love each other all over again. The word of God teaches us that God is love, and "If a man say I love God and hateth his brother, he is a liar." (1 John 4:20)
While I believe that the gospel of Jesus Christ is historical in its content, it must be contemporary in its application. Therefore, here at Mt. Olive, we try to the utmost of our ability to preach and teach the word of God with simplicity.
